Anthony Rodgers

Anthony Rodgers is a native born San Franciscan. Ten days after graduating high school Anthony joined the U.S. Coast Guard. After his tour with the Coast Guard he began a 22-year occupation as a field engineer for several Silicon Valley companies.

With a natural love for people and music Anthony became a Professional DJ/EmCee/karaoke host in 1985 by spinning records for weddings and other special events on his dual Technics 1200's and coverted to CDs in 1988 and then to a laptop in 2004 after realizing that the future was going digital. Anthony loves entertaining for his clients and witnessing the joy on their faces. You will often see Anthony having as much fun behind his DJ console as his clients and their guests are having in front of the speakers. Although specializing in weddings, Anthony also has performed birthdays, anniversaries, corporate events, bar or bat mitzvahs, karaoke shows, backyard barbecues and a whole plethora of other special events. Anthony always customizes his service to the desires of the client. While performing, Anthony's style offers a full-service performance where he will coordinate with the client and other professionals in attendance so your special event will be as smooth as bridal silk.

When he's not DJ'ing Anthony likes to spend his time with his wife, special friends and family, including his Border Collie Lab mix named Sport (who he considers his child). Anthony also likes riding his motorcycle, weather permitting. You might spot Anthony practicing his singing at one of the local karaoke spots in the Bay Area. Anthony grew up idolizing Elvis Presley and has performed at the Santa Clara Fair Grounds for the Elvis Presley "Sing & Lookalike Contest." One of the biggest DJ challenges he's faced was at the request of clients who wanted to introduce their entire Filipino bridal party in an Elvis-sounding voice. "Thank you very much!"

Anthony also like traveling the world, meeting people and learning their customs. He has spent time in Isreal, China, Taiwan, Norway, Russia, and Alaska. Not including most of the 50 states.
